I ran Rotella in my FZR and am running it now in my GSXR. Never had an issue with either. It's so cheap, I change the oil every 1000 miles or less.

Hence the 3100 motul which is good for short periods between changes.
You guys think oil is dear but your paying half the amount we pay even after exchange rate.

i haven't used royal purple in my bike yet, mostly because its expensive. i did use it in my old honda crx and it was AWESOME. i only did it once though, and that was a $70 oil change doing it myself. course i had a few quarts leftover for top ups, etc but still, expensive.
right now i'm just running castrol 20w50 which is the same stuff my family uses across the board. just a decent generalized oil thats pretty cheap. i do plan on switching to a nice synthetic though.
