Exhaust question.
Ok i think i have a full Twin brothers exhaust on my fzr. When im ridding its a really loud like rappy noise. kind of like some ricer. is there any way i can quiet that down a little bit and make it a little deeper sounding. Can i just repack it or something.
Re: Exhaust question.
If the outer is riveted on you could repack and install carbon outer sleeve.the sound becomes deeper.

Hi,
I used three different re-packing materials on mine to take the "rasp" out of the exhaust note
the bit closest to the centre perforated pipe I used steel washing up type scouring pad material then used loft insulation type fibreglass then a fibre glass cloth wrap to hold it all tight.
Oh and by the way the FZR is a "ricer" ie made in Japan the term ricer is used by american made bike owners to imply that their bike is better in some way ......................
