I'm not aware of anything that just goes in and fits, but I see EXUP shocks sell on ebay cheap all the time.

You could just get one from ebay and send it off for a rebuild and maybe a revalve and have a new shock when it comes back

A key rule I always follow:

If you need new suspension, always upgrade

As long as your current shock has some life I'd say ride it out while you look for an aftermarket, Fox, Penske, Ohlins, Progressive

If you think otherwise I just found 8 or so on ebay: This one is buy it now for 50.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/Yamaha-FZR1000-FZR- ... dZViewItem]
8 Bikes so far...more coming too...Image

getting a stocker rebuilt and revalve'd would be a nice cheap upgrade.....of course springs aint all that cheap even though they should be

:tks: I´ve checked out the shock for sale on e-bay,but i´m located in Spain so it would be expensive to have it sendt over. On top of that I would like to upgrade to something better/newer,mabye from another bike. I´ve cheked out the shock on a R6 from ´05,but it´s completly difrent and I don´t think it would fit throu the hole in the swingarm. So if you know of any other bike I could take the shock from or mabye a reasonable priced aftermarket item it would be apriciated. Thanks for al the feedback, and I hope you understand my bad english. Nice bike the orange FZR whit the short end can :tks:

Most of our shocks, from what I've see, say "cannot be rebuilt". I'd go with a Penske, of course they're pretty expensive.

$750 - $1100

I am looking into buying a new Hagon unit. It is 255.00UK pounds. Not as fancy as a Penske
but a lot chepeer. If I buy a 2hand shock for a exup it would at best be from ´95, thats 12-13 years old= crap. So chek it out on http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk . Let me know what you think.
