sinse i am in need of new coils (just new cables...but they are attached so I need a whole new set) I was thinking about the ford coil conversion because I was told the coils are very cheap at a junkyard....
i went to the only near junkyard and asked them if they had them...they said the prices range from $45-$75...so much for that...
does anyone know of a resource of where I could find these coils for cheap?? or fzr coils for cheap for that matter...
TK has a set for $25...im waiting to see if a awesomer deal pops up

Check eBay often... $25-30 is probably the going rate.

I bring a backpack with tools and room to spare with me at the junkyard. I buy something really small which usually they just say not to worry about it.

Re: ford coil conversion?
my junkyards not like that...you go to the counter and you have to tell them what your looking for and they look it up on the computer to see if they have it and if so, then they say a price...its not a just scavange the yard till ya find somthing you like and are like "Im grabbing this thing!"megaloxana wrote:I bring a backpack with tools and room to spare with me at the junkyard. and yes, I know $25 is a great price...but in my current financial state, iv gotta look to see if there is an even better deal out there somewhere.

if you got any autozone reward point saved up they are 45 bucks new....
also make note that its kinda hard to run these if you have the stock airbox....no room for them. Thats why I run Pods.
