anyone know what the highest mileage fzr600 is out there? everyday mine gets high and higher and riders i meet are suprized i ride a bike with so many miles, but they all my own.

just wondering if anyone has seen a really high milage fzr600 with out a motor rebuild. 36,250 as we speek right now for me.

my 88 1k was over 37k when I sold it.......the guys you meet have too much $$ or are newbs :hyprocrite

36K is nothing for Jap bikes.

I had put 45K on an SV650 ...track days, daily commuter.....hammered that bike on a daily basis.It never skipped a beat. I bet that little beast is still alive somewhere out there.

ill just run mine until she stops one day. i'd like to see it get 50K for sure. the highest i saw was a 600 with 62K i think on the orginal motor. just wondering if anyone has been higher.

i thought i'd heard about a fizzer with 70k, but maybe it was another bike.

i know a guy with 130K on his i think but the motors been rebuild and worked. its a 1K

I had a xs650 that I rode until the 98,000 mile mark. The only problem was gummed carbs and cops :cop:

same, guy on EXUPworldwide I think has 100+ K on his and redid the motor at like 75k

the beamers go 200+ quite often

I thought that the most I have heard for a fizzer was around 45,000. Thats not a lot of miles if you take care of it. Mine has around 17,000 and growing.

Mine was at 38,XXX when I swapped the motor. Still ran but needed new valves.

im at 23,790 and im hopin i hit 40k bought it with 17k since have had to change the clutch , stator , vr and couple other things but not motor<knock on wood>

Before i stripped my down i was at 60,936.7

A friend of mine has a FZ6 with 85,000klms on it in 2yrs, with regular servicing etc
Only the usual stuff has been done such as shims under cams (tappets), brake linings, oil etc etc

No worries
