YZF swing arm question....

Hey guys, what's the best way to get a fatter rear tire on my FZR600?

I have the option to get a YZF swingarm and tire, will that work? How hard is it? any write ups?

YZF swingarm is a common swap.

you must first find out what type of yzf it is , yzf600R -yzfr6-yzfr1 make sure you get the right one for your swap

Well i just picked up my YZF swingarm, wheel, brakes, and my bike has a frame with a title now!!! :headbang:


I don't know man, i kinda like the 99 R6 tail better, but wheel see, i have to sandblast everything and the swingarm and frame are getting a black powdercoat...or paint, not sure which yet...i need a 180 tire if anyone has one... oo and pictures of the bike will be up tomorrow

i thought yzf used a 160 tire...

are you planning to do any actually performance mods?
there are many to choose from
*Jet kit
*K&N pods
*R6 header swap
*ignition advancer
*660cc conversion (yzf head swap)

right now i'm just trying to get it up and going .the yzf swingarm was just something I came across that i figured i would do while i have the whole thing apart.

I need the damn hugger for it though!

and no, there is a 180 tire on the wheel on the yzf swingarm right now
