I dont know if you can see where the exhaust melted threw the lower.

I need to make an add on for the control swap..
people seem to think that have to go and cut and solder wires together to do them...this is wrong
all you need as a very tiny flat-head screw driver and there are pins that hold the wire heads inside of the connecters.
here is a pic of all the wires romoved from the left hand control side...I did the same with the r6 controls and just plugged them straight into the fzr plug so it plugs right in
Image
my control is off a 01 r6 I think

some stay pics

mount

the bottom set is to far forward which is causing the upper to point more up...Ill be making a new bracket to fix this

guy I bought the r6 headers from also had a wall of batteries from all the bikes he has torn down...cant ship acid...so he gave me one of the maitnence free batteries...
it doesnt work on the fizz though...if you hit the start button, the starter solinoid just clicks super fast and nothing else....sucks...there all 12v...i dont get why it doesnt work
Image

next will be to install the yzf master with r1 res.

the headers are at the shop, so no pics for now...

You have no idea what a difference that front brake MC (with SS lines) can make on the FZR. Plus, it's a lot easier to fill the reservoir!

a bleeder is real cheap from harbor freight. Like 15 dollars. another thing to do is to take off all the brake parts. Put the brakes above the master cylinder. Let gravity do work for you. Leave it over night like that. Then bleed it out.

You may need to "bench blead" the MC first. One other trick is to wrap a rubber band around the brake leaver to hold it to the throttle over night. This will allow the air bubbles to migrate on their own up to the res.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....

i finally got something out of it...when I roll the bike and pull in the brake all the way it stops...im gonna have to test ride tomorrow to find out if its good enough...im used to only being able to pull the lever half way in, but this I can pull 9/10 of the way in...lol...
i think thats how newer bikes are though...

ok, so how I got some pressure.
i had a rod that could fit inside of the tube I had connected to my bleeder screw.
I pump the brake, then tied it up to hold the lever in.
then when I quickly open and close the bleeder screw I also force the rod into the tube at the same time...i dont know what it did, but it helped...

are your gauges upside down??

Anyway, you are bleeding the master cylinder in addition to the calipers right?

Double check all your line connectings to make sure they're tight and you dont have any leaks.

I hate debt with a passion. Ive been in debt for over a year because of my motorcycles.

I'm assuming you haven't taken it out yet, but when you do you should let me know how it rides with R1 setup. Any difference in the front end height?
