my r6 header mod

Post by deathcomesarippin »

...almost done still needs a few modifications like adding some exuahst pipe to let the can fit because right now the clamp bolt hits the dog bone and it wont go on all the way and I ned to weld some metal over the holes where the H pipe was, but other than that I got it to fit :headbang:

Very cool. Nice work there.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Looking good chum. This'll become increasingly useful as FZR, YZF and Chundercat pipes corrode away to nothingness.

Looks good. What plans do you have for the muffler?

thanks everbody and yes I have already noticed some rust at the top of my stock header,

as for the muffler ill just add some extra pipe to the end of the header bcuase right now the muffler does not fit on all the way do to the end of the header being close to the dog bone so the muffler will not slip on becuase the clamp hits the dog bone, or just some how break the clamp on the muffler so I can turn it around.

yes I more than likely have to add a mid pipe that will be easy, and I dont have any plastics to see how they would fit
