color scheme idea for FZR w/ full R6 conversion

Post by match417 »

Ok, so i have this Amp Energy can beside my laptop and i kinda like the color scheme, i was wondering what you guys would think. So either metallic black or dark charcoal, metallic semi-dark green, and a little metallic lime green, all 3 colors striped like the can. Probably a little more black than what the can has. I think it would look nice. But i might just end up going with black and non-glossy charcoal.

And I was also thinking about possibly taking both of my side fairings and making them smooth. And leaving the front fairing stock.

Are you sure about that? Maybe they would give me the exact colors they used too. If they are going to pay for advertising, then I'll probably go with something i like more, someone just gave me that drink and i didn't drink all of it, it's ok, but i'd ride around advertising for it if they paid me, i like that idea! Do you know how much they pay?

not sure exactly... i guess you get paid pretty good.
I think they might even pay for the paint job.
my moms ex boyfriend almost did it.
not sure is companies do it with motorcycles. at least I dont think its ever been done before.
they usually try to get either big trucks or stand out vehicals.
there is a guy in my neighbor that is adver. for xbox in his scion xb.
you would have to google it and look into it if your serious about it.

but those colors would be sweet.

Go for it J. I like those colors and so do many of thousands of people. Just make sure you use a lot of the lime green.

Good luck getting paid for it. Go into the project not expecting anything, then work on a deal, but unless it's visible a lot at the track and in heavily populated areas, chances are they won't do anything.

Trust me, if that were the case, a million rednecks would have Budweiser all over their trucks... lol

thats pretty similiar scheme to the monster energy drink and there are a TON of bikes with those paint schemes so you can get ideas from them.

I say it looks good! just be cautious for the green color, If it's not the color that's on that can I think it would look rather tacky. The monster energy drink has a lighter green and I think on a bike it would look rather tacky!

The people are very picky with who they chose.
rednecks cant do it because they would give the comp a bad image...and there trucks arnt anywhere near nice or new or clean...lol
I think you would have to have a very popular custom motorcycle to have the adver done...like if it was evil C's bike then I think they would :D

I think the colors would look good if done right. I don't think I've seen an FZR in that color combo either so keep us updated on this as well.
