A,
That tail & seat look to be a neat fit you will just have to recover the seat and install some extra sponge in the "family jewels " area to cover the hole in the gas tank cover rear area.

Nice find !

You should do the yzf 600 tank swap and your seat will line up perfect. Not to mention, look better.

where can i find an yzf 600 tank relatively cheap that is straight and how hard is it to do the tank swap cause i know with the the tail swap im probably going to have to do a custom bracket for the tank. if it uses the same bracket and bolts straight in up by radiator fill cap maybe i will. other wise custom bracket and ill be doing some fiber work and bondo work to mold the tank and cover the whole as for the seat im going to only try and trim the little wings on the front back a little so they are flush. my main thing to get done right now is the swap with the tail. so everything else is up in the air. but any suggestions im really taking to heart i already bought the little rc fuel tank for the overflow that was a really good tip now i can get rid of the ninja 650r overflow i had and put everything back in the tail like it should be.

I dont know. I got my tank for $60 I think. Its been a couple years. You can find them fairly cheap if you look at ebay. Mine is from a 2000. Check out this place for the write up.

Hi,
If you are going to trim the seat "wings" you may be able to use the excess material to weld on the riser lip to cover the Tank cover whole. That way one thing is modded the seat, the tank is stock. If you decide to go with the later model tank then selling a standard unmodified tank cover will be a lot easier .............

I've got this Banshee reservoir that fits nicely in the tail. Let me know if you want it.

You could use an coolant overflow of a small capacity dirtbike.

no graphics im actually going to do a thin layer of bed liner just cause i like the texture and i have never seen it done before. plus it will strengthen up the fairings so it will be basic matte black with some matte yellow accents and stuff. i actually got the rear frame welded today so now im just doing the fitting and rearranging some mounts for electrics and seats so about one to two weeks and she will be done except for the paint. trust me im getting excited

Not to blow your bubble but I have seen a bed liner painted FZR before. It didn't turn out as well people hoped. I hope yours turns out better. Keep us posted on the progress.
