Re: Rear sets - Update 2-15-09
So I finally got the rear sets mounted on the fizz. Got some custom made brackets and had to modify a few parts, but it's on!
Thanks, to the awesome work of the one and only Mod King. After countless hours in my cold
garage trying to figure out how I'm going to get the rear brake switch to work(impossible)
, I finally gave up for the night. (2-14-09) I know,V-Day!! The wife was busy getting ready for our daughter's baptism the next day. Well, I remembered another member posting about another set up for your brake switch later that night. Tracked down that posting, and have my banjo bolt switch coming this week. Still have a lot to complete, but I'll be riding again come spring. Mods include upgraded swinger & front forks from the 89 model, R6 front brake set, HID lights, rear hugger, etc. Here are some pics of the rear sets mounted and how my baby sits until I get here done.

and this one is just to show my home made rear stand (spool and swing arm mount in one unit), not painted yet.

::slightly off topic::
The cheapest place I found so far to get the banjo bolt brake light switch (and the place I got mine from) is here:
http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/group. ... =BRAKELITE
I can't remember (but I'm sure someone will post it up) whether it's the 10x1.00mm single bleed or 10x1.25mm single bleed. It was a good $10 cheaper than any motorcycle shop online (Pegasus does SCCA race car parts)

Re: Rear sets
Yeah bro. the size is 10mm x 1.25mm single bleed, I found this same web site last night while searching. It was $19 shipped to my door in 2 days. It pays to shop around. LOL2the_finch wrote:::slightly off topic::
