electric m

Post by ALMOST »

How many of you would consider doing this to our beloved fizzers? (see fzr link below) This guy has a couple videos of his FZR.
I think this is the way of the future, I have considered taking a bike with a blown engine and replacing it with an electric motor and giving it a shot. I know that depending on how you ride will depend on the actual miles you will get on one charge. And thats what sucks about them. I don't know if you guys remember the electric R1 video.

I have looked at different option for this. But this is the first electric bike that I found that used an old fizzer as the donor.

What if gas gets to $7.00 or more, or starts to become scarce. Intresting, the big three will all haev electric cars buy 2011, like the chevy volt. electric and the a small gas motor after the first 40 miles to recharge the system.

crazy. If only battery technology would advance. Batteries have held us back for so long in so many emerging technologies

I'd need one stiff baseball card for the spokes.

Would you rather have the electric or one that runs on water?

I dont know. With the economy the way it is I would like to have the battery powered bike. Plug it in and no warming it up either would be nice. Lots of benefits from this.
