I need someone to do a write-up with links to various manufacturers about the available rubber for the FZR.
Please try not to link to retailers, but rather link to the actual manufacturer.
Thanks,
darrin

Re: Help needed: Tire Selection
I looked today at the various website for tyres to match the FZR600 therefor at least a matched 110 or 120-17 front and a 140 or 150-18 rear and this is what i found .
*First up Michelin, Metzler and Pirelli make nuffin to fit - bear in mind this going off their websites and may vary to local availabilty/stock.
Bridgestone seem to make the most tyres to fit.

http://mc.bridgestone.co.jp/en/products ... 012ss.html - 120 front only

http://mc.bridgestone.co.jp/en/products ... /bt92.html - front and rear
http://mc.bridgestone.co.jp/en/products ... /bt45.html - front and rear
Dunlop - GPR Alpha-10

Avon - Storm ST

140/70 - 18 M/C 67H TLSPORT DEMON by Pirelli
Re: Help needed: Tire Selection
Pirelli Sport Demon
110/70 17 front
140/70 18 rear
More of a sport touring tire. Sticks well for what little power the FZR600 has. High mileage tire, IMO.
Features:
* Specially designed front tire-profile is designed to greatly improve handling; excellent water evacuation thanks to central sine-wave groove
* Multiple-radius rear tire profile provides lighter and more precise handling and stability in all driving conditions - radial-like handling from bias-ply tires
* H-rated for 130 mph and V-rated for 149 mph sustained speeds

Re: Help needed: Tire Selection
The Dunlops look like great tires, but I can't find them for sale anywhere in the USA.
Also available are Shinko and Kenda, and generic Metzeler tires for front and rear, I've found.
The Avon Storm STs (AV-55/56) look good too, but I'm probably gonna get some BT-14s, since they are the cheapest and easiest to find.
