milk create

Post by ALMOST »

I read in a thread how valued milk creates are for working on your bike. I have never used one. I guess they are handy to place under the bike as a temp lift. Can someone enlighten me to the uses. I have a few around in the garage, so I might as well get some use out of them. Thanks

I think most people use them as generic stands for the frame, but I would caution putting too much weigh on them. Milk crates vary in strength and they've been getting thinner more and more as the years go by.

Yeah, after my engine was on it for a bit it kinda started to cave in a bit.

The really good ones have a metal band around/near the top on the outside fo the crate. Shop around. They are handy things to have around.
