Re: My homemade front and rear stands
Any idea what it cost you to make those?

Re: My homemade front and rear stands
about 10 dollars.
Most of the material was going to be thrown away at work.My boss even let me build them while I was on the clock(so I guess that ten dollars is not really right either since I was getting paid while I made them). If I had to buy all of the material myself it would have probibly ran me between 50-60 dollars.
Mike thanks for the compliment

Re: My homemade front and rear stands
You really do need to clean your bike.
Those turned out really good. I have been looking to buy a front and rear stand but I cant justify what they want for them. You have inspired me to build my own now. I work for the City and I bring home metal every day and add to the pile at my house. Im going to get started tomorrow.

Looks real nice!
With a little skill any thing is possible.
Made a rear stand for myself also last weekend, cause the one I bought kept twisting on me while raising the bike.
Didn't paint mine yet, but will come spring.

Thanks.I also could not justify spending the money that they want for the mass produced stands, and that is what drove me to make my own.Good luck and have fun tomorrow.
