Trying to find a 250 for someone

Post by thatkid »

If anyone happens to see a Yamaha SRX 250 anywhere, please let me know. I'm trying to find one for a friend for a reasonable price. I know it's a long shot but you never know.

You could prolly find some but they'll most likely be out of country. Keepin an eye out though. Does it have to be titled?

Yeah I'll need to be able to have it street legal. Apparently I'm a few months too late. There were 3 for sale during october, but now there are none and I can't find out anything on if those actually sold. I know one didn't. One was in MO and the other in PA. Don't know about those. The one that didn't sell was in WI and the guy was asking 800 over blue book. I said no thanks.

I do see them all over the world but no clue on how to go about shipping one across the ocean or getting it titled once it gets here. They did import them for a year or so so that would make it easier to get a title, but there is still that whole shipping aspect. And I'm trying to keep the cost down.

It should be an 87. I believe that is the only year they imported them.
