PDF Manual for 1000

Post by Fizzinatorr »

I checked both forums but didn't have any luck

I could use a PDF of the 1000 manual or a picture or description of what hoses go where from the fuel pump, the person i bought it from messed it all up trying to get the bike to run

i'm having issues with electronics right now

fuel pump, front headlights for starters

anything in the manual related to that will really help out :notworthy:

what year?

I think most of the electrical diagrams are in the wiki.

Let me know what your problems are. I had to rewire a lot of my 88cuz the PO had ef'd it up.

fuel pump........any pump from a carb'd bike will work......if you have to replace, I had a ZX6R pump from teh mid 90's on my old 1k.

Is it not turning on at all?

and what about the headlights? if they arent coming on it could be the right control. last time mine werent working I had to cut the wire that turned off the lights when engaged so they would be on at all...............

but yeah....theres the wiring diagrams.....let me know and we can try and sort it out

I have a pdf of the service manual, we are in discussions on how we are going to make manuals accessable as we are a club style site. Are you planing on supporting the site? PM me your email address and I will send it through.
