shift kit?

what the heck does a shift kit do?

iv seen a few pics and they look exactly like mine but you are able to see inside the baring
heres mine (stock...i think)

Yours isn't a bearing. It's a stamped piece of metal with a hole in it that rubs on another piece of metal. You want the best upgrade you can get... go get a shift kit.

They are great for track use and make it easier to shift.

when i replaced my transmission, clutch, and half the rest of that crap i did the factory pro shift kit. its amazing the difference it makes. its harder to find neutral, but when you shift in to gear it is solid. there no iffy in between gears like you can sometimes get with the regular detent arm and spring. i will say it is WAY overpriced for what it is. $95 for a detent arm with bearing, a spring and a shitty gasket :yikes: . its definitely worth the money, i just think it doesn't need to cost nearly that much. same with their jet kits, they're all over $100, and the emulsion tubes are another $90. gets real pricey real quick thats for sure.

Yup the shift kit was one of my favorite upgrades for sure.

I agree with you on the prices but its all worth it in the long run.
