state any upgrades that might effect mpg. (jet kit/idividual filters/and as reelrazor said, gearing also.)

Last time I kept track of it I was getting about 40 mpg. I would only get about 34 mpg if I went above 10k rpm more than once on a tank of gas though.

went I pulled my carbs to clean them 2 months ago, they were spotless and I checked all the jets and all were clean.
I dont know if rebuilding the carbs and cleaning the carbs are two different things though

Cleaning and rebuilding are different. Your emulsion tubes may be bad. Check out the carb section in the Wiki & Factory Pro's site.

i get between 45-50 mpg, rebuild carbs, check valves, etc. you shouldn't be getting that bad of gas mileage, does it seem like its running ok? i wouldn't think so with that fuel mileage.

OK, I just removed my carbs and found that my jets in the first carb were reversed. The main jet was in the pilot, and the pilot was in the main.
I switched them back....hopefully it will help some.
I hope I dont have to sync them now that I switched them.
