TomGun wrote:Csofos Your bike is looking great so far! I absolutely love this bike. Too bad the 3TJ's are rare here in North America, I'd pick one up in a heartbeat.
I'm curious, what is the rear wheel size and width??
The rear wheel is 4.50" x 17". 3TJs have this size. My 3tj has this size also but the rim it's from gsx-r 400. Previous owner was too blowzy and he had a 4.00" x 18" rim from earlier model 1wg. I couldn't take it, and i make the gsx-r rim swap.

+5 on that,

I would like to say thanks to Chris as he has helped me quite a bit by taking Photo's of the 3TJ rear end for me.

As most of you know I have a 3HE and in the process of dropping a GSXR shock & 3TJ swing arm and using a 3HE rear wheel & axle in it. I am also mindful of the fact that I have 3TJ 4.5 17" wheel waiting for the later mod so that I must preserve the 3TJ arm as is.
I am writing this up & taking photo's & drawings of the parts to make the change for the WIKI, but I could not have done this quite so quickly without Cris's help
THANK MATE
Geo.

Thanks for the kind words Chris, but to my mind if you do not pass your life's experiences to others to learn from , why are you here ?

Do you know what's the bike of my dreams? It's FZR 1000 '94 (foxeyes). The one you have. When i'll get one too, i'll make it very powerfull. Yoshimura camshafts and CDI unit. Handmade exhaust system by me, and cylinder head also. Keihin carbs FCR 41mm, and no lights, or flashers, or anything that is wasteful for the track. But... no money for now. I'll see.
