To those with yzf tank conversians
just wondering if you noticed any difference in handling since theres a little more fuel and its a little higher up? thanks

I did not sir. Its a ton more comfortable though when I'm layin on the tank

Now that I've owned an FZR and a GSXR, I can tell you that I prefer the plastic tank cover of the FZR. It is slimmer and lower. I was able to put my backpack on there and still have enough room for the wind to go over the top of it.
The GSXR has my legs spaced almost too far apart it seems. It's probably something I'll grow into though.
The other advantage is that the FZR tank can take more of a beating. When something hits the steel tanks, like my GSXRs, it either dents it or chips the paint. My FZR tank cover seemed to be able to handle small abuses.
