I will have to agree with your statement, mark...it does look way better on the fzr(I SWAPPED ). BUT i think the stock tank cover looks better on targets bike...seeing as how it has a completely different flow than the fzr.95FZR600 wrote:megaloxana wrote:I actually wouldn't do a tank swap. The fzr tank flows very well with the rest of your bike. I'd say get the hole completely flushed and paint.
I will have to disagree with you on this one. I think the YZF 600 tank looks way better on the FZR.

yeah, you better put some miles on it, looks like we're headed for another very long, cold, depressing winter.
I like your color design, now i see why you put the yellow in there. Along with the white "FZR" and sticker details, the blue really works well.
Nice job!

why thank you! i an do appreciate you all deciding i should keep my stock tank cover! frankly, i was at an impass on it, i really didnt want to muck with the airbox because it runs so well, but then i kinda want a metal tank for my tank bag, even though i glued magnets to the inside of the cover, which have worked well for the 1 mile i rode. so stock it stays! my totally stock FZR
I did that.

Re: Target's bike : more pics, moved thread

and this is what happens when you want to ride, see the black clouds coming in, and then taunt mother nature when it starts to sprinkle...
btw, this happened in less than a mile from home

LOL!! I was about to go out for a quick tour, and I saw those same ominous clouds. I decided to put the bike away, glad I did, that was a mega downpour we had. How did the jacket fair after getting soaked?? BTW the bike is looking sweet that cowl looks awesome.
