I think my rotors are warped...
When I come up to stop lights and stop with moderate pressure on the front brakes, the bike lurches. It is an evenly spaced lurch so I can tell it is happening with revolutions. I guess what I'm asking is first, do you think my rotors are warped? and if so should a get them machined or should I replace them? If I should replace them what gives me the best bang for my buck?

That is one indication. But I'm not really sure. If you want to replace them, you have a few options. Ebay a used set ($), buy a set of EBC new ($$$), buy a set of Galfer or Brake Tech ($$$$$$).
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Could be, it's hardly uncommon on the Fizzer. Whip them off and stick a straight edge across them.
New discs are pricy, but out there. I sourced a new set of TDM 850 discs (different, but dimensionally the same so they fit straight on) from ebay dirt chep. When you own a Fizzer, a regular scout of ebay with a view to keeping stocked up on these sort of parts is just part of life!

Re: I think my rotors are warped...
i'm going through this "warped" crap right now myself. i did read that what is happening is an uneven build up of brake material on the rotor is possibly causing the issue. i replaced my rotors with resurfaced rotors and all seemed fine for a short bit. as it turns out, being that my calipers were seized up, the heat generated possibly glazed the pads, causing them to harden and not grip. some where along the line, this caused the "new" rotors to pulse. i talked to my local shop owned by a racer and they suggest resurfacing the rotor. they charge only 45 or 50 bux for it. once i get some new pads, i'll be giving that a try.
bottom line -- see if a shop will resurface your rotors and replace the pads. much cheaper than replacing the rotors with new. the only reason someone is selling rotors is because they upgraded rotors, or the old ones are bad...
