I hope you tightened back the nut on the bolt & nut at the clutch cover, after the adjustment. Now go take a ride and see if it makes a difference.

The adjustment is too tight at the sprocket. Make sure the bolt didn't turn as you tightened the nut.shredex wrote:now the problem is, the bike doesnt go anywhere.Dragon wrote:I hope you tightened back the nut on the bolt & nut at the clutch cover, after the adjustment. Did you just change your oil or something. I'm try to figure out if you need new clutch fiber plates. When did this all start happenning?

Never mind. If you were up here by the AL/FL line, it's like a 30 min. drive. Down there, I'd be lucky if I got there by 7am, and I have to work tomorrow, LOL. Just a wild thought.shredex wrote:im in holiday florida, by new port richey and tampathe_finch wrote:Where are you located in florida?
Listen to Dragon. He'll help get your clutch line adjusted.

Re: WTF is wrong with my bike?
ok, so I adjusted the clutch.
now when I release the clutch the bike almost takes off! and that is without me even turning the throttle. and thats why the bike shuts off as soon as it trys to take off.
do I need to tighten the handlebar clutch lever?

Re: WTF is wrong with my bike?
It's going to shut off if you don't give it throttle. Just remember it's in gear. If it's a different problem let me know. Just tighten the lever so there is a little play in it. Then go ride and let me know.

Now your clutch should be adjusted properly. When you release the clutch lever it should try and take off. Just remember you're the one in control, ease out the clutch lever and a little throttle and your off and riding. Be careful now, since you haven't rode your fizz with the clutch working properly. Let me know how she rides.
