doesnt show full power in first.

Post by shredex »

when im pulling from a stop, the bike revs high but it doesnt seem to be going anywhere fast.
this is only in first gear though.
I couldnt pull out in front of a car thats 200 feet away going 30 because my bike wont get threw first fast enough.
I have better luck keeping it in second the whole time

the gauge was working perfectly before I tried to install a turn signal.
once I put the turn signal in and turned the bike on, withought even turning on the signals the light just lite up really bright without blinking. then I turned on the signal button and that when everything stopped working.

hmmm, so you did te r6 control swap too, sounds like you have a crossed wire, I know it is a lame question, but did you back check all you wiring? and did you check your blinker relay?

I wasnt the one that did the swap. The previous owner did it.
I checked the wiring and there is no loose connections and the reley seemed to be fine.
it only f*cked up when I put the turn signal on in the front. when I did the rear, it worked just fine and blinked.

it sounds like something got grounded, I would double check all you connections, fuses, and the wiring diagram, then go from there. did you go to LED's?

I did not get LED's.

and the only fuses I know of are all fine.
theres the fuse box which has like 4 or 5 in it and they are 10's, and theres one fuse all by itself thats like a 25. all the fuses are fine.
im going to wake up tomorroww and quadruple check the wires and connections. Iv checked them many times allready

yes, that is correct. BUT, the only thing he didnt finish was installing the speedo scenser into the crank case. everything else was working great.
