You'll have to pull some magic to get the FZR stem into the R6 tree, the stem will be too small.

If you get this set up, I'm going to be really super jealous, especially at that price.

if you can get a 636 front end from 03+ you wont screw up your trail and rate at all...most people dont care about it but its nice when your bike handles good.

reason i did the 636 front end swap when i did the yzf600r rear swap.
02 xr200r set up for XC

been looking around all kinds of front ends , cant find the right one for right price because im thinking the machine work is gonna cost as much as the parts them selves

From the thread China_1 had about his bike, he used a sleeve that pressed into the new lower clamp. Im sure a machine shop could do that for you in no time and for fairly cheap (probably just labor).

PMF,
Down boy down, even if he did bite the trick would be to get the upper fork clamp (DO NOT ASK ME HOW I KNOW !!!!)

If you want to fix the forks then buy cartridge emulators fro YSS although they call them PD valves & a linear set of springs, set them up according to the setup I used you will not be disappointed and all for about the price you were willing to pay for that money pit front end.

IF you want front ends Ducati's are too short from the Monster & the 996 (I have a spare set of each waiting to go on my race RD's back home ) GSXR USD forks with a wheel I understand looks stock'ish but up to date technology, trouble is every on & his mother is Gixxer crazy.
