Nice. Maybe try to re-size pictures at upload to Photobucket though. If you select the 15" or 17" PC screen options those are the best. These things are HUGE.

I didn't take them, the owner did and when I usually put them in Photobucket and post them on my other forum, the forum resizes it for me so I don't have to deal with it which is why I leave them high res.

No, I haven't yet. I still owe him a couple bucks on the total sale and I told him I wouldn't take it until it was paid for. Not sure if I'm going to get any miles in before the snow falls or not but I have been known to ride with a little snow on the ground too.

Great! You will have lots of time to swap/mod this winter.

I think the first task is just making it pretty again. I think I'm going to take all the plastics off, repair what needs to be repaired, and then do a complete flat black or flat white paint job.

I don't think I'll go that far. If I get ambitious, I may consider polishing the rims that are on there if it's possible.

It was a hell of a deal that I knew I couldn't pass up, even though I'm going to be eating ramen noodles and walking instead of driving for a while. Image

Nice catch, aside from the fairing damage it looks like it's in pretty good shape. where abouts in MN are you?
