need help this winter i want to do a yzf tank and r6 tail swap and i was just wondering what all i need and if theres any write ups on it and what is the widest tire i can put on a stock 96 frz600 please help me!!!
Re: new fzr member need help
First off, Welcome!
Here's a site that has the whole write up for the Tail and Tank Swap.
http://heath.agdog.com/fzr/workbench/r6_tail_yzf_tank/
You will need the tank from a YZF 600 not R6. Either undertail or under tray from the 99-02 R6. Tail light 99-02 R6, Rear tail 99-02 R6. And some mad modding skills. Heaths web site shows the easiest way and thats the same one that I followed.
Also, take the time to introduce yourself in the Welcome/Introductions thread.

Hey, WELCOME!
Widest tire on a stock rim is a 160 series. Recommend Bridgestone BT014's.

Thanks 95 for giving him the easy answer.
remember, the SEARCH feature on this site actually works. Read thru some of the other threads also, you might learn something.

what ever happened to using the search feature and trying to do something yourself first instead of relying on everyone else for the answers?
Alright then, hey 95, how do i change the batteries in my TV remote control dude ?
