Re: dog bones
I can make both of you some dogbones. They will be a very basic shape. Since my mill is kaput right now all I can really do is cut the aluminum to length and round the ends. I can drill some holes for some design aspect, but that's about it. They'll work and they'll be wicked light compared to the stockers. $35 shipped.

I can also do that, check the for sale forum for my dogbone thread for more info

Re: dog bones
Or just look at the side of the dogbone. It should have a 1WG stamped on it if it's stock. From there we can work out a trade. I know deputy wanted to raise his but someone sold him lowering links. I bet he'd sell those for the cost of some raised ones. Then everyone is happy.

They're available on ebay item no 130250365870
Re: dog bones
actully, all Deputy has is 2 stock-length dogbones. One is stock steel the other is aluminum.
take a picture of your triple clamp (at ignition key and gauges area) so we can tell if your front has been lowered. If it has been the forks will stick up more than normal.
I had a friend who was an expert champion of CCS and WERA during most of the 1990's and early 2000's. He ran Formula 2 and some other classes. He mostly used an FZR400 that probably had about another $10,000 worth of refinements to engine and suspension. He left it at stock height, but because he was only around 5'-5" tall he had to tippy-toe all the time.
Guy could start in last place and halfway thru the race he was half a lap ahead of everyone. Of course the ideal for you is to NOT be "tippy-toe"

Re: dog bones
The dog bones I have are actually adjustable (two holes), with one setting being stock and the other lowering the tail.YAM93 wrote:actully, all Deputy has is 2 stock-length dogbones. One is stock steel the other is aluminum.

Could you not measure top of one bolt to top of the other to give you the center to center measurement.haunter wrote:eye to eye from the bolt holes
