Yes I could if i took off the rubber bump stops on the side. It is kindve a bad angle though, I'll get more pictures tomorrow.megaloxana wrote:You should be able to get the tank to sit more flush against the frame.

yeah yeah yeah... I got it as a combo deal so it was worth it. It will be replaced or repaired shortly. Picking out the little things tonight aren't we gents....
All the other plastics have been painted gloss black to match the black on the tank/tail. I haven't decided if I like it yet. I may have the tail painted black to match. I don't really want to mess with the paint on the tank because, it is in great condition and I know something will go wrong when I try to strip the clear off trying to get those decals off there. I'll have to take a picture tomorrow of all the plastics back on the bike. If possible I'd like someone with some photoshop skills to make the tail black to see how it looks.95FZR600 wrote:You will enjoy the tail and tank swap. It improves the look a 100% in my opinion. What are your plans on paint? You going to try and match the black and red? I think you should.
Thanks, but it still needs a lot of work. The bike was not taken care of before me. I might need to pick your brain a little bit about the jet kit/pod setup a little later.95FZR600 wrote:Its a really clean bike. Post some side pics when you get a chance.

I'll try it, if you have a spare FZR400 airbox lying around =-]Genesis wrote:So has anyone tried the FZR400 airbox in the 97+ yzf tank?
