I'm still working on these.. As for the pricing, they won't be much because I'm not ordering them from anyone, I'm making them myself.. or at least I will be... :D

Yes, I'm making them myself. Building a CNC machine at home and I'll likely make these out of Delrin or some other very high density plastic. They'll be similar to the design #1, but they're not going to be exact. They'll have a raised logo of the site, and maybe some more text on the bottom side. I won't be able to do them in multiple colors because I won't have anything capable of that, but I might look into some sort of paint to go on them just to seperate the text and make it easier to read.

As for the CNC machine I'm hoping to have the actual build done on Monday, but I'm still waiting to get the electronic parts so I can actually use it.. Once I get it set up, and order the materials, I'll be able to give a definite answer to costs and time it'll take for the completion of these items.. The drawings for it are pretty much complete so it's just a matter of time right now..

Yam, et al, I believe the string hole serves the same purpose here as it does on a disc lock. It allows you a reminder that it's there. Also allows you to pull it up by the string after you've gotten on the bike so you down have to bend down. FWIW.

Alright everyone.. Here's your chance to get the newest FZROnline.com merchandise. The first bit should be ready sometime tomorrow as I've completed the drawings and with the machine up and running, they WILL be completed. Unfortunately the colors might be a lil wacky as I've found a source for 1/4" ABS "puck board".. you know the stuff you see around the bottom of ice hockey boards?

It's EXTREMELY durable and highly impact rated so they'll withstand the bikes leanin on em for a while for sure. The first batch will be in red, I should have about 32 pads cut up tomorrow.

Pricing Information

$5.00 / each pad + $1 for postage
$4.00 / each additional pad.

If ordering in bulk, IE won't fit in a standard envelope without arising suspician at the Post Office, we'll have to discuss shipping prices at that point..

Payment Options

Paypal - bweight@unitz.ca

Any other type of payment can be requested. Please contact me via email at the above address or by PM here on the forums.

Here's a pic of how they'll look. The inside box will be milled about 1/16" to accomodate the kickstand. I'll rough up the bottom side of the pads because this material has a somewhat slick smooth surface. Enjoy. :)
