I got the idea from "98streetfighter"? The kid in Nebraska. I think he did something similar. And with the airtech tail, I needed more room under the seat to store things.

All it requires is a longer screw for the master cylinder at the top. A bolt and nut for the reservoir and a short piece of aluminum. I bent mine at a 90 degree angle at the top.

Nice..good idea. Could always use a lil more room under the seat.

i was just playing around with this last night...how ever i would use a smaller dia res....04+ r1 is 1/3 the dia of the fzr and fits even nicer in the space.
02 xr200r set up for XC
96 trx300ex set up for XC

im roadbike less!!!!!!

Hi,
yup I have a small carbon fibre jobby sitting spare I was thinking of using but I also wanted to tuck it in further or put a shield near it to protect in a fall. A fall is one thing riding without reat brakes is another cause you just know the fronyt lever is gonna snap / bend/ be unusable

That's how I got to 61 and still riding a sports bike :yikes: If i can stay alive another 2 years it will be 50 years of riding RRBike
