Project still live...just waiting on quote from dream machine paint for body work respray. Fitted bar ends..originals are not available so got these from China, close enough.

I am getting ready to do powder on the frame and wheels after i finishing fixing my little problem with the tail.
Then putting the new 6speed in tranny in the engine and repainting the engine.

Then just repaint the bike in a sort of tribute scheme that is simular to either the scheme we have now, or the yamaha yellow black.

That's the body work and tank booked in for respray/decals..work will start on March 12th so will be ready for spring.

Are you going to have the graphics printed or are you going to paint them on?

I'm going for the full laminated decal set to keep it original. Tank decals will be lacquered as usual...

Where were you able to find the decal set??

I'm using a custom paint company called Moto Paint in the UK. After speaking to them about the pearlescent paint they told me they had a supplier of the original pattern laminated decals... They are on order as we speak..

Cheers, I was pleasantly surprised how well it went. As there was no tank all I could hear was the induction roar from the air box
