wanted fzr 600 vance and hines edition

Post by mallett99 »

Hi everyone I am new to this forum and I am looking for an original 1992 Yamaha fzr600 vance and hines edition in ecxellent condition and very low miles basically collector quality maybe even museum. If it needs vey minor work like oil change and spark plugs or a battery I don't mind doing that but if it needs extensive body work where it has to be repainted or major mechanical issues I would rather not deal with it. I used to have one back in the day I don't remember the serial number on the bike but I did find the vin number JYA3HHE05NA042092. I can be reached by email, text or phone. My email is kmargiolas@comcast.net and my number is 3125080395 Thanks everyone...

Thank you.
Does anybody know by any chance the paint on vance and hines edition motorcycles were they done at the factory or were they painted after they were shipped to the dealers?
Someone had told me this and im not sure if it is true.
Would love to hear from someone that actually knows if this is a fact or not.

Guess this was done by the Importer....in this case Yamaha Motors USA, not by the Factory in Japan. Same as with the Gauloise-Style Yamahas here in europe where Yahama/France did this styling ;)
By the Way: http://www.fzrarchives.com/ipb/index.ph ... opic=60754 <-Maybe the Bike (Editions S/N 52) is still available, perhaps contacting the Seller might be an Idea? ;)

Thats due to the system there, each new member has to be activated by an admin first, but the reply-posting is not away..maybe a reason to contact one of the admins over there...had the same issue when i registered over there, but after a short pn to one of the admins i was set free soon ;)

Hi, everyone I was looking at a 1992 Yamaha fzr 600 vance hines editon on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-FZ-/2219 ... 1924348884 it looks clean but it looks like it has been modified how difficult and expensive is it to put back in stock form and if anybody actually knows this bike and has seen it first hand I would appreciate any info.
Thanks again.
