Fzr600 intake valve and yzf intake valves

Post by Sonicwarhawk »

Anyone know the specs on the 2?? Are they the same? The part numbers are bugger close 3he 12111 00 vs, 4jh 12111 00. Ferrea makes a yzf valve. I'm trying to get a set.

I can't make an intelligent comment as to whether they are interchangeable, but the way the Yamaha part numbers work you can't make ANY sort of judgement on how close the parts are. Everything is in the model prefix (3HE vs 4JH); the next 5 digits (12111) says what the part is (in this case the intake valve). My TZ125 uses 4JT-11351 for the cylinder base gasket; the FZR uses 3HE-11351. A 2-stroke single and a 4-stroke inline-4 use pretty differently-shaped gaskets ...

heard back from Ferrea, they are in fact the same valve and ferrea makes a roadracing valve for the intake and exaust. these are way stronger than factory, pn F0110 is the exaust valve and F0109 is the intake valve in Ferreas cataloge and both are made inhouse. now im off to build a head.....
