I put a new battery in and replaced the regulator. tested the three white wires off the pickup coil and they barely register 12.5 volts.
just want to confirm that the pickup coil is not bad and it is just the stator only how could I tell the difference which piece is bad.
by looking at parts it would seem like the pickup coil will be faulty not the stator as it's a huge piece with many parts
