EXUP servo mount

Post by NHMatt »

Hey guys, I'm having a bit of a brain fart while reassembling my 92 FZR. It's been disassembled for a while, and I can't remember where the EXUP servo motor is supposed to be mounted. I assume it goes under the seat somewhere, but I can't find any bolt holes that line up with holes in the mounting bracket. If anyone has a pic of the mounting location, it would be a huge help. Thanks, -Matt

Thank you! My subframe has no bolt holes in that particular location, I guess that's why I couldn't find them. Apparently my bike was not originally equipped with the EXUP, judging by the lack of mounting holes.

So you require a pic. of where someone clagged on an exup servo on your bike and your bike is a non Exup model ?

No, I've got it mounted now. There were no holes in my subframe for the servo, so I drilled some today and mounted it up. I'm assuming it was a non EXUP bike from the factory since there weren't any mounting holes. I'm guessing the previous owner added the EXUP exhaust after the fact. A lot can happen to a bike in 23 years, I've certainly seen crazier things.
