Does anybody know whether a set of FZR400 fairings will fit onto an FZR600 of the same year?
I am in need of a full fairing set, as mine haven't got much life in them any more.
I found these on ebay:

Thanks
Chris.

Re: FZR400 Fairings?
Those won't fit a 3HE very well at all.
They are for a Genesis 400.
You need the 3EN1 400 fairings and seat unit, they are virtually identical to the 3HE 600.

Re: FZR400 Fairings?
Thanks for that.
How about these? Or is the 3EN2 different to the 3EN1?

Or these? Which say 3EN1 on them:

Re: FZR400 Fairings?
3EN1 and 2 have a lot of differences between them on the seat units and the nosecone air ducts are in different places.
3EN1 seat unit will interchange with a 600 3HE with minimal bracketry ,a 3EN2 will not.
3EN1 nosecone air duct inlets are also in the correct place for a 3HE.
I have seen these fairings from Parts 4 Bike, the finish was stunning and you could not buy the paint alone in the UK for the cost of the kit.
It is the carriage charges and the likelihood of 8% import duty/20% VAT on the cost of the kit PLUS carriage and an £8 handling fee that puts buyers off.
Sometimes they slip through customs clearing without charges but don't bank on it.
3HE 600 panels are readily available unpainted in the UK in GRP with coloured gel coat.
ARD supplied the panels for mine and a simple paint job was very cheap.

Re: FZR400 Fairings?
That's excellent. Thanks for the info. I think I'll go with the ARD fairings, as I trust them a bit more than ordering for Hong Kong. It also means that I can get a nice paint job done on the fairings afterwards. The current fairings are black so I probably want to go for black again with some decals.
Thanks for your help on this one. The panels look great on your bike!

Re: FZR400 Fairings?
Unfortunately I received an email from ARD saying that they are no longer making many of their fairing kits and they are actually selling off a lot of their tools and moulds! Looks like I may have to go with the Chinese version after all.
Re: FZR400 Fairings?
That sucks about the ARD fairings but thanks for the update. The Hong Kong ones are not too bad from what I have heard.
