Recently stripped the frame to paint and im feeding all wiring through the subframe again. I came across this part of the wiring harness and it appeared to only attach to the positive and grounds of the battery. It's rather hacked up. Anyway does anyone recall where this thing is supposed to be plugged into?

that black fuse holder looks like one of two things.
a. the wire for the horn
b. part of the ignition system (in front of the VR, behind the left tail fairing when sitting on the bike)

It looks like a hacked in power supply for an accessory to me. That IS an aftermarket inline fuse holder. Looks like they found a keyed 'on' hot wire and gaacked it in there.

Razor's right. Looks like a hacked wiring harness for a car stereo now that I look at it again.
