Rear wheel dampers
I lost my rear wheel dampers that sit under the cush drive and I found some used ones on ebay for 15 dollars. Can I go with used ones, or its best to buy new ones?
Re: Rear wheel dampers
You can go with used, but buyer beware as with most stuff. Although unlikely, they can wear out. More likely is that they become brittle and lose their damping quality.
I may have a set of dampers form a 97 FZR 600 that you can have for shipping. Do you want me to check if I have them? I'm 90% sure I do.

Re: Rear wheel dampers
I bought one set off of ebay. They looked good but one is missing the rubber pointed pin to hold it to the wheel. It just sets in the wheel. Can I still use it?
Re: Rear wheel dampers
Yes; the pin is just there to hold it in place when assembling the wheel. A bit of axle grease (which you should be using anyway) will help prevent it from exploring new frontiers.

yes I learned my lesson with axle grease. I had to cut my swingarm in half to get my wheel off. The axle and spacer rusted and joined forces.
