How to get a FZS 6 Shock to ft 95 FZR 600

Bought a 99 fzs 6 shock for the bike went to fit it and discovered two inches to short. would dog bones drop it the two inches and fix the Prob Noob

No, to raise the bike the dogbones have to get shorter. Get too short and the linkage arm (aluminum piece dogbones and shock bolt to) will be at it's limit of travel.


That shock is completely unsuitable for application on the FZR.

Sorry, you will need to try another...there are documented suitable donor bike shocks...

Go under the for sale section, one of the users who makes the R6 shock kits will be finishing up his kits within the next couple weeks
