spacer needed ?

Post by turbospark »

Hey guys..been trying to help my buddy out...I sold him my fzr600 'cause I'm in the process of getting a 1k and he tells me that there seems to be a spacer in between the cylinders and the crankcases that it's missing screwy ...I looked at a schematic of an engine but don't look like it's supposed to have one there...any help? the bike is a 90... thanks for your help guys...

I have only heard of this when doing a 660 conversion , and there is no spacer inbetween the case and head on an OEM , only 4 o-rings and a base gasket.

when you get to this page, hover the mouse over the picture and it will allow you to zoom in and out as needed. good luck!

and the base gasket and o-rings are there if oil isn't running uncontrollably all over the engine.
