i got into an accident about a month back so im fighterizing my 89. im going with a single 7" headlight and am not sure how to do the wiring. could i get a harness from a fzr with the single light setup and use that? you know so i dont have the extra headlight plug just hanging there? i wouldnt mind just chopping the harness my self but i really dont like wiring. just not good at that aspect. either way please let me know what options i have.

dual = two connectors.
single = one connector
cant you just use the two connectors and only plug one of them into the single?

He did say he did not want to do that ! I made up a pigtail that plugged into each socket & coupled the two sockets into one lead & plugged that in to the one light.
That way if you want to go back to dual or the next owner does you just unplug the pig tail & away you go to duals again.
Since you do not like wiring I am sure someone here can make you a pigtail that will work.
None of the list know where you are since you have ignored the plea for a location in your details so the offer above is as good as it gets, who knows you may have another member close to actually install it for you.

that would be awesome if someone wanted to do that for me.. also anyone have a good gauge setup they like? i was thinking of going with an acewell or a veypor unit. any feedback would be great.
