Chasing the carb

Have not posted in a while, Have been very busy, new job, 2 year old. I had cleaned the carbs, disassemble and dipped. sync with a cheap pro carb sync 99.00 ebay; it kinda sucked. Well I picked up a vacuum gauge set for 60.00 ebay. It works much better.

I started off with a stumble around 5000rpm to 6500rpm, tuned the carbs again and now I have a stumble around 1000rpm to 1500rpm. So when taking of in first gear can make it interesting, not such a smooth take off.

Any ideas? I'm going to re-sync again. I'm think about just buying a used set of carbs if I can't get it right. I just can't imagine taking it to a stealer.

Jet kit installed? Is your D&D a pipe or full system?

Slip-on I believe it is a stage one kit. It ran fine before the carb cleaning.

back out the A/F screws .5 turns out and see if that helps

I'd remove the jets and re-clean them again. Sometimes a little bit of carb cleaner solidifies before you can get them clean. This may not be the case, but it can't hurt to do it.
