fuel pump alternitives?

Post by shredex »

will a fuel pump off newer bikes work on the fzr? like an r6 fuel pump? or cbr?
That way we dont have to deal with that clicking sound when we turn the ignition on.

If they are for a FI bike then no. I think a R6 will work because they run the same PSI (i think). The clicking isnt that bad anyway.

A 5-9psi self regulating automotive fuel pump will work (as long as it's similar in physical size to the stock one). This is something you should be a bit proud of though. You obviously know A LOT more about bikes than the guys you ride with. Honestly if it's not broken there's no need to fix it.

On my FZR400, I mounted a Vacuum pump off of an SV650.
Works great.
