valve cotters?

Post by feef »

Um, how easy is it to get new valve retaining cotters/collars?

My home-made valve spring removal tool wasn't as stable as I thought, and I've ended up with a couple of pingfuckits

is it the same part number for all FZR400s?
1WG-12118-00-00? (mine's a 3EN2 model)

You should be able to order them through any dealer - online or otherwise.

LOL I don't know what a "pingfuckit" is but I'm going to use that term in the future. I imagine it's from the sound a small spring or part makes as it launches from your control. Is it the sound it makes when it launches or when is lands somewhere? LOL
