I do like the look of the high mounts. You should buy them. A few pieces of pipe and a couple bends!

Agreed +10. If you can swing the cash then go for it. That'll look really sweet on your bike.

My buddy at work today mentioned to me that my bike would look great with the exhaust under the tail. If I used the short can under the tail I dont think it would get that hot being titanium. Ill talk to my muffler man. What would you all think?

pimp- go for it man.. It doesn't seem like it would hard at all. The only problem i see is that if you start welding on pipe or bending, you're gonna damage the chrome.

95fzr600- what kind of pipe will you be using under the tail? The one that is currently on your bike?

The R1 has dual exhaust under the tail so I would have to look and see if its design is the same as the short can I have. If its shaped different then I could use it under the tail and just have the pipe run to mount it. When I get back from NY I will run it down there. In the mean time I will find a can to fit under the tail.

ok pimp, the pipes will work for sure. and $200 + is the going rate for a set of devil shotguns so the price is right. the mounting will most likely be alot closer than you think, you will probably need some exhaust couplers to cut and weld , or you may be close enough to just cut a slight angle on the end of the mid pipe and weld it to the header . either way , i would make sure it's welded to the header to eliminate any leaks.
