The '95-96 YZF600RG/RH use the same tank as the YZF750. The '97+ YZF600 uses a somewhat different tank, with an external fuel pump. I can't comment as to the mounts and outlines, etc.

As for the cap, a quick check of EvilBay shows a selection of aftermarket keyless caps that claim to fit all years of R6, and the early YZF600 (= YZF750 tank). Check it for yourself, but I'd say it looks promising.

I can confirm that the mounts between the Foxeye (600 & 750) are the same as the Thundercat (600).

But I would recommend against using it. Only reason is that the internal fuel pump is a PIA. It is difficult to source one that is in good working order if it ever goes out. There is no petcock switch so it takes a little bit for the gas to stop flowing if you ever have to take the tank off. It also uses the vacum lead from cylinder 1 into the petcock which is just another line to connect and disconnect when servicing is done. Beyond that, I like that tank a lot more than the Thundercat tank. The internal fuel pump has an advantage in that it removes the external pump from the mass of crap under the tank.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.
