Ok...one part of the float is smaller and higher then the other.I guess you measure the bigger float height...right?.Thanks
BTW I have the Haynes service manual.I checked the carbs specs as you told me to do but there is no mention about the 14mm float level there.The manual mention only 10.6-11.6mm.A special Yamaha tool is needed or a plastic tube.I guess I should consider to buy another set of carbs.

Don't do that, you'll be throwing away money and should learn how to do this...the fuel level is just a piece of tubing to fit over and when you unscrew the drain plug shows the amount of fuel to a level..
Go on the factory pro website for our bikes instead of us typing out how to do it as they have a good write up with pictures. It'll become obvious at that oint

That should give you an idea..
