Sticking / choppy front brakes....rebuild?

So my 93 with R1 Gold star front brake calipers is acting up. The brakes seem stiff and choppy when braking. Can anyone here point me to some directions on how to rebuild these or what to check?

Are your rotors warped? Are your pads warped / glazed / covered in dog poo? Pull the pads, extend and clean the pistons so they can retract properly.

rotors are straight, pads looks in good shape. I will try to work on this the coming weekend. I can pull the pistons out and the seals and give it a good cleaning. Hopefully can just reuse the old seals.
